Navigating Nevos Skies

Michael Stratis (GM) 0:00

It just seems a little buggy to me. Where it doesn't get everything that I would want. Summarize it the way I'd won and it misses.

characters and people sometimes then it cut out one time. I don't know just -it's annoying me.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 0:16

When we do correct. Simultaneously?

Michael Stratis (GM) 0:24

It might as is we're not getting a lot of bandwidth. don't know about you guys but my peers

right so let me give you guys just a quick summary of the last session. Just so everybody because it's been a while. And I know Scott you weren't able to join but.

In the last session Cal Hessen -Zindl. Rode down Gautier. And convinced him to surrender.

zeratas. 0:54

This is the guard that we just saw all of a sudden started attacking right?

Michael Stratis (GM) 0:58

Yes and it was kind of a cool little moment. I think Cal had used this kind of cool sling ability to entangle him to sort of catch them.

Oz you were a huge support character. you're healing everybody left and right And Everett was really beat up so that was great. Deocita found a religious book on Michael's corpse.

And he was paging through it. And there was a little bit of a lore dump around.

The Empire has this religion which is almost the worship of light. And all of the different Countries and races that come under the fold have sort of adapted their own religions to that.

So you have things we're dwarves. They have more of a polytheistic religion and they've sort of adapted their religion to Different forms of light and fire formation things that.

One thing that was odd with Deocita is that he. Reading the book.

It almost seemed that was a more advanced form of the religion than he remembered because he's so religious. It sort of confused him in terms of what he was reading.

you guys interrogated following is utterance. Deocita revealed this angelic form which convinced Gautier to help the party.

He revealed that. was a break -in in the barracks and that the Empire had sensed. This large airship with a legion to Vos. Which is how he got there.

And that they had found this secret passageway that led into the wizardry school and called it The Culprit.

Who is responsible for breaking in. They chased rebels into the forest.

that was how they found this airship and that they were going to they assumed that the rebels were in the airship.

In order to delay any future patrols.

Cal convinced Moe the horse to talk with the other horses and send them off in varying different areas.

To sort of confuse the troops with the corpses of the Imperials that you killed that was cool. And Mo said that if you want to.

you ever want to hook up again he'll be and he'll find his way back to Vos. And he's going notably to the. thatch roots. That's where he'll try to make his way back too.

Hess Gearwhistle and Zindel worked on the airship's aetherflow engine which looked this.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 3:39

The name of the where Mo will be again is the.

Michael Stratis (GM) 3:44

That's the thatch roots house. Those were the young girls. That are now parentless.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 3:51

And then I thought that has that Oz fought the.

Michael Stratis (GM) 3:57

exactly.

This was the Etherflow engine or parts of the Etherflow engine. Basically.

It was a series of these gemstones that had different colors. And Gear whistle had spent a ton of time getting just the engine sort of active. And fixing it up.

But he couldn't figure out how to tune the crystals. So you guys spent a while trying to figure out how to tune the crystals and what you realized was that each crystal there was a tuning fork.

That you would hit the crystal and it would make a note a musical note. And you figured out that. If you did them in sequence. Nothing would it was positive.

If you hit the sequence incorrectly. The person would get blown back and the crystal would crack. so you cracked a lot of crystals but you didn't break them. Thank God.

You eventually figured out the song by finding a – I forget who did that. think it was Zindal. I think it was Finn went to the captain's room and just –

I inspected it and found a diary that had music in it. With a lute. And so you guys tried to play one of the songs in there and it started basically the engine.

As soon as you started the engine this and everything was aligned. You felt this shaking of the airship. And it.

It rose about a foot off of the tree so it's almost hovering in its position. And that's where we stopped.

So I will ask you guys where are you and what are you doing?

zeratas. 5:41

Sid is just waking up from a nap and he's what happened?

Michael Stratis (GM) 5:50

Let me ask you this. What part of the airship are you guys in right now each of

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 5:59

Oz would be near Gear Whistle wherever.

Michael Stratis (GM) 6:07

So gear whistle is in the.

zeratas. 6:08

That's cool airship art.

Michael Stratis (GM) 6:14

Gear whistle would be in.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 6:17

It of looks Endor a bit.

Michael Stratis (GM) 6:22

There is definitely a Star Wars vibe to that.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 6:23

Northern California.

Michael Stratis (GM) 6:30

Shit balls didn't I?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 6:35

Because one of the. I'll say one of my regrets well. It sounded last time was an awesome session so I'm.

Could not stay but man I'm bummed to miss that session. But

Michael Stratis (GM) 6:51

No no worries.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 6:53

One of the things. What I to do was talk more about Jerry 3. with gear whistle and he's Oz is very interested in the Jerry's and the concept of.

These ochres so. I would have wanted to. in their downtime he's asking a lot of questions.

And Gear Whistle would probably get a sense with very low role. He get a sense that Oz is interested in raising.

A jerry of his own raising a slime of his own and That might be something very useful to have With our party as a.

So he's very interested in having that as a.

Not a pet but as a.

Michael Stratis (GM) 7:54

So Jerry 3 is going to be over here. He's just kind of hanging out right now.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 8:03

was part of the so Jerry 2

Defense systems on the airship. So that was when we were trying to get in the airship initially it was Decimating.

So we ended up finally defeated it. But then gear whistle ended up we. When we came back to the ship we found out

There was this whole battle and then there's this epic moment. And then all of a sudden out of nowhere. This jelly appeared and everyone was is so

We found out later Gear Whistle had saved a little bit. a few spores or something and basically revivified him. And so there's a Jerry 3 now.

Michael Stratis (GM) 8:51

Yeah he fed him food because it kept trying to attack him. And he would feed it and then not feeding basically tamed it. Over the time you guys were away.

It's a small jelly. It's not this size but it's. He's fiercely loyal to Gear Whistle.

All right.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 9:10

You we basically. We the kids if they attack us we don't feed them. If they don't we feed them and they grow a little bit it's been working out pretty well.

Michael Stratis (GM) 9:20

Yeah it works out for everyone. So let's just – for sake of narrative here you guys are all still in the – so the ship has just risen a –

You could feel the ship kind of rise a little bit off and this ether flow engine that is over here is sort of humming. coming.

What would you to do?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 9:44

You asked where I would be Cal would probably be. Somewhere towards the.

Michael Stratis (GM) 9:59

See you over here with Jerry 3.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 10:01

I would probably be on the deck looking outward. Yeah very.

Michael Stratis (GM) 10:06

I think – I'm picking up right where we left off where I think everybody was just hanging out here. Let's just assume

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 10:11

I didn't know how much further in the future we were.

Michael Stratis (GM) 10:15

Yeah let's just do it right from so you can do. Just tell me what you want to do. I'll put data seed in here who else did we have? We had.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 10:19

Yeah think David Suda and I just came back up because we were out releasing the. OTA out into the world.

Michael Stratis (GM) 10:31

Yeah what did you guys do with Goatee by the way?

you let him go? I forget.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 10:41

You're you broke up a little bit when he said that but I think you were asking me what happened to Gautier. Essentially. We kind of swore to we intimidated him with Deocita.

And he said that he was going to try to delay. And we were basically Amen. you.

You still have s - There's to do well. And do good in this world. So. We'll leave you to be. We have no corals with you.

Kind of let him go and he wrote off. I mean the last thing that he told us. He was very intimidated by Deocita. Last thing he told us was that he would try to buy us time.

Michael Stratis (GM) 11:30

Got it. Okay perfect.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 11:37

And they see it and I would make it.

zeratas. 11:37

Kids are just going to be looking around everything.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 11:39

The one up on the boat before it took off.

Michael Stratis (GM) 11:43

Say that again.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 11:45

I saying that i think the Deus Cita and I may have been the last ones on the boat before it took off.

We might be down at the. following same hatch.

Michael Stratis (GM) 12:01

O -E. Yeah this is the entryway. This is the bottom of the ship.

So you would have cut you would have come up through this. hatch and you're now in there with them. As you were climbing up you felt the hum of the ship.

And you felt it as you were climbing up the ladder. It kind of rise off the ground and is now hovering. About a foot off of the trees there's still some branches and things hanging from it.

It hasn't really pulled away but it's definitely levitating on its own. In neutral so to speak.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 12:38

So this is not where the. is it? Is that the engine on the bottom deck or up by the

Michael Stratis (GM) 12:47

It's on the bottom. So there is a – well roll a – all right. You walked up. Roll a perception check.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 12:58

I'm going to perceive.

Michael Stratis (GM) 13:06

You notice Hess has -

Sid Gearwhistle and Osborn sort of huddled around this what looks to be the set of gems. behind it are all these strange gears and almost arcane meets.

Engineering some sort of device that's at the back of the.

The gems themselves almost seem to be humming a note and as they all hum together it's almost a chord being played. You see a bunch of pipes that kind of.

work their way up the back of the ship. And seem to go up into the next level.

zeratas. 13:52

What are you doing over there Cal? Don't touch that. We just got this thing started.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 13:52

Nice work.

Nice work everybody! is this Gear Whistle that did this? Is this Sid? What happened here?

Michael Stratis (GM) 14:08

Gearwhistle goes we all work together. We figured it out! We got the aetherflow engine running! We can find this baby.

zeratas. 14:15

Yeah I mean i walked in and gear whistle was hitting stuff. We got all this stuff working.

When we walked in my Flitz record just kind of came to life. The second we walked in it was I mean we got it working.

But I think we got a bit more to do before we got it flying. But – mean… Slaps are humming.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 14:39

Well in that case we better hurry up and figure out how to get this thing moving because there is a very good chance that there could be some people. They are showing up soon.

Kaseed and I just said sayonara to. A former foe. That Doesn't mean that he won't be able to.

Or that he will be able to prevent them from catching up to us.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 15:10

I'm wondering what time of day it is.

Michael Stratis (GM) 15:14

It is It was the morning when you guys were awoken. By the blast sounds and you sprinted here.

On your horses so it's probably around midday now.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 15:32

It's not really a good time This is probably the worst time of day to be firing up a. An airship and just going for a joyride.

Maybe. Now might be a good time to. Just put this out there. I know we got a lot of things that were working on.

We probably need to look at some way. of making us less.

So what I mean is. Some way to camouflage this ship.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 16:22

It's not a bad idea.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 16:24

Spitballing. I'm it out there but.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 16:28

One way or another we gotta get out of where we are now.

zeratas. 16:32

Mike how much does Sid. Innately know about it and what kind of effort does Sid saw it? Does she yeah I get this or is it I have no clue.

I have an idea. Yeah.

Michael Stratis (GM) 16:46

This was where it's so funny. Sorry little meta moment real quick. this was so funny Will I was so banking on you joining the last episode

Way to explain how the shift works and So we got around that. was fun. anyway roll an Arcana check!

zeratas. 17:11

Aw three. Not 8.

Michael Stratis (GM) 17:15

Sid you are fascinated. Absolutely floored. This is Christmas morning for you.

You're so enamored by this technology but you can't figure it out and all you want to do – you're just staring at it and all you want to do is spend some time with this to understand all the inner workings that you are smart enough

to know that this engine is presumably what powers the ship. There seems to be some connection between magic.

Technology and music that sort of powers the engine but that's about as far as you know. You can decipher that the pipes that are leading up have something to do with the envelope has

the movement mechanism of the ship and obviously you know that the helm is up at the top of the ship. On the top deck.

zeratas. 18:11

So it's on it's just not flying.

Michael Stratis (GM) 18:15

It's you started the engine. And it's ready to go.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 18:21

How loud is it?

Michael Stratis (GM) 18:24

Interestingly it's not. And it surprises you. There's a hum around the ship. Just mm.

And there's a small shake of the ship. you can feel it on but it is not as loud as you would have thought for a technology this sort of in your face.

zeratas. 18:46

In that case I'm definitely going to head down to the engine. And you said it's. magic. Music and what else?

Michael Stratis (GM) 18:55

Magic? Arcana? Science. And some sort of musical element to it. Particularly the gems which power it. Or seem to power.

zeratas. 19:10

Hey surfer boy.

I got an idea. got a feeling. I can't place it but I think if we go down to the engine and. I have this idea that.

It seems to feed off of the innate magic around performance. I think if I hit it hard enough and got a few ideas.

It's not just going to be throw some magic into it but I think we've got to convince it. I think I can get something running. you want to join me downstairs.

Michael Stratis (GM) 19:46

Or actually you can talk to yourself. That's your guy.

zeratas. 19:49

What does he sound again?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 19:52

He adopted a French accent or maybe some Russian.

Michael Stratis (GM) 19:57

Yeah it was somewhere between French -German and Russian. It was as if Germany won the war. World War II.

zeratas. 20:07

speak to Allah. I would love to join you in the best man to help with the Anjon.

Yeah I'd to head downstairs with. Zendon.

Michael Stratis (GM) 20:23

Well you guys are already there. You're right where the.

zeratas. 20:25

this is the basement. Okay

Michael Stratis (GM) 20:26

This is the basement. Apologies yeah this is the basement. You guys are right in front of the engine right now.

zeratas. 20:28

Yeah you're good.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 20:32

And wow. I know you called me out to help there but. Remind me the layers of this. Which one is the gun deck on?

Michael Stratis (GM) 20:43

So there's this bottom deck.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 20:46

Sorry just to be specific. The one where the Gear Whistle was shooting from.

Michael Stratis (GM) 20:54

So there was the bottom. Sorry should delete these guys. And then that leads up in this hatch right here. To the mid deck.

There's also if you recall Gear Whistle had his little. Excuse me his little. secret hiding place in here that he sleeps. So you can get up here through that right?

This is and then you have a bunch of places to sleep for the crew here. And a little bit of common area. This is a big common area with a makeshift.

There's oven and stove there are some seeds cargo areas etc. Here is where you would get into the gun ports.

Think Millennium Falcon style right? you could get in. This is the one working canon. This is the one where there was The cannon was removed and in its place it's a Almost a bird's nest one of the brothers.

the Kenku brothers probably lived there. Then you have the captain's quarters over here. sorry.

zeratas. 22:04

Mike this is a nice map.

Michael Stratis (GM) 22:07

Well came stock with the. But this is the captain's quarters with the big bed. This is where you had found the baby if you recall. Hey John.

And then if you go up any of these stairs up. You get to the top deck which is.

There's two ballista over here and the blister were interesting that you as you recall they were on these almost platforms that. If you pulled the gears you could sort of angle down.

You could angle up. they kind of have rotation to them so you can sort of fire in many different directions. The helm is right here.

It's very complicated. I mean you guys can inspect it later but its a very complicated set of tools and there is actually oddly an anchor system as well on this side so that's sort the layout of the Chevy.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 23:02

So sorry just to be specific. The thing that I was looking for is the.

Millennium Falcon gunner turret thing that Gear Whistle was shooting from. Which deck is that on? The one we're on downstairs or the middle one?

Michael Stratis (GM) 23:16

Middle one right here this is where you would enter. Here and there's an entry for the side.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 23:21

Okay. And in the battle that was damaged in some way right? There was something that was cast up there by Michael.

Michael Stratis (GM) 23:29

Yes Gear Whistle was firing from that and then Michael shot some sort of.

was a bell that exploded in the area and that's what knocked Gear Whistle unconscious.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 23:39

Alright while they're dicking around with the engine I want to go find that and see if it is able to be salvaged in some way.

I'm

Michael Stratis (GM) 23:52

Very well Cal. So you work your way up the stairs.

zeratas. 23:59

And Sid's still going to be at the engine just tinkering her way at it. just have some ideas.

Michael Stratis (GM) 24:05

Excellent. All right Cal I'm to put you over here. So Cal you approach the gun ports. As you look in – I'd you to roll a perception check.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 24:15

gonna do better than I did last time.

zeratas. 24:19

Two. One

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 24:20

Eventually can

Michael Stratis (GM) 24:22

Eventually. You look in and there's just.

soot and black all over the place. You see the cannon sort of angled down some of the fittings around it that -the wooden fittings and metal fittings look very damaged.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 24:45

I at least get an insight as to This is something that I could dick around with or if then I would be.

Michael Stratis (GM) 24:54

Yeah. you to roll an investigation check.

I'm 18. All right. Very well. You look in there and you're wow I that is probably beyond the scope of my. Skill sets.

Probably a job for. an artificer or a mechanic of some kind. It looks really. It just looks beyond something that you can deal with.

zeratas. 25:24

All of a sudden Cal hears from up below. Hey pretty boy! How's it going?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 25:34

when you figure out how to make us move places you might want to help They help us defend ourselves. i'm going to check the

upstairs just so we can cover ourselves until we get I'm a little bit. And I will message that back to you. I think you can get that back from me.

then I'll also message.

Message deus cita.

Hey! Maybe you want to help me topside. I'm try and figure out if there's anybody. Tracking us. And maybe

we can get this thing moving.

zeratas. 26:27

As they're doing that Zendel's next to Sid and Zendel is I'm going to say sitting on one of the boxes.

That said it's just fitting around with it looking at all the parts using her Flitzragger arm to kind of analyze Gents of Stowen. and all of a sudden Zendel is just

Coming attune? And every time he hmm

I would to say Sid doesn't notice it yet but every time he starts humming the tune you see the power go.

Every time Zendel starts I come into tune.

Michael Stratis (GM) 27:07

Very well. Deocito what are you doing?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 27:11

The cow's on the top deck.

Michael Stratis (GM) 27:13

He is on the mid -deck.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 27:16

I'm moving my way up to the top deck though. That's my intent.

Michael Stratis (GM) 27:16

Which you can climb. Yeah you can plot that. You could climb up this there's a ladder that goes to the next deck if you'd to climb up to him.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 27:28

Before he does that.

The cedar goes back. Where.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 27:34

Also you can reply to my message if in your mind.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 27:40

He I will be there in a moment. Yeah and then. walks back to where. Big Mama was and he just.

It's to look around and use his senses to make sure that. The darkness then there is God.

Michael Stratis (GM) 27:58

Where did you do that again Deocita?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 28:01

Where Big Mama's quarters were.

Michael Stratis (GM) 28:04

very well. All right. So you climb up there. You go up to the midsection. If I can find it airship interior. Here we go! You are down here.

So you're going to walk you walk into. The Captain's Quarters. I'd you to roll a religion check.

With advantage. Which means you get to roll it twice and take the higher of the two.

You walk in and you actually notice the bed which was formerly. almost a crude.

Nest with a bunch of branches and bobbles and string. And kind of gross with You know it almost was this quasi -nest.

Almost profane thing. That's where the baby was and the mom's dead corpse was. It's been per -

taken away and all that left there is sort of a dirty bed.

It's almost as if Gear Whistle or someone else cleaned it up.

As you walk into the room you feel a faint.

chill. of a forgotten darkness. But. It doesn't feel the way that it did. When The nest was there and.

Mama Bramble whatever the hell her name was. there?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 29:51

Beating. It's expectations so. Continue up to the.

Michael Stratis (GM) 29:58

Alright Cal. You guys are both up on the top deck. I'm going to move you over here.

What are you doing on the top deck guys?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 30:11

Who's steering this right now by the way? Anybody?

zeratas. 30:17

think it's just floating. It's kind of If you started up. It's a long one.

Michael Stratis (GM) 30:24

It's think of it as an airship in neutral. It's levitating maybe about a foot off of the tree. It's still caught in the tree but it's levitating about a foot off the tree just

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 30:41

Dea Cedar turns to Cal and says.

Free the ship from the tree. What if. more guards approach?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 30:55

We are of the same mind my friend.

want to get take a crack at that spinny wheel up there i was gonna go check the ballista to make sure that we can. Defend ourselves should we need to.

Michael Stratis (GM) 31:16

Cal are you approaching

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 31:20

Yeah I want to check. I think that we. Hired to ballista at one point or messed around with it in one of our previous fights. Or maybe when we were old. Spending the night there.

I want to go and make sure it is.

Ready to roll. If needed. And I want to be on the lookout for anything that.

for watching us.

Michael Stratis (GM) 31:49

So roll an investigation check first for the ballista towards the north here.

You approach the ballista and you start inspecting it kind of moving it around checking the gears.

And you sort of mistakenly pull one of the gears and the thing Angles down you're whoa. And you pull it the other way and it angles up. You sort of mess in with it. looks it has full.

As far as you can tell it seems to be operable and you do remember.

Remember that in the trunk here there were these large. Spears basically that the.

Right here.

zeratas. 32:47

Breaking up Mike.

Michael Stratis (GM) 32:50

Sorry there's more spears in this container right here.

Dang it am I losing internet? Can you guys hear me okay?

zeratas. 33:03

Now Ray can hear you.

Michael Stratis (GM) 33:06

Second guys let me just pause this.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 33:13

Welcome Zeki.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 33:15

Hello?

Michael Stratis (GM) 33:17

Will we picked up right where we left off. Where you guys got the. etherflow engine moving and you guys are now hovering just a foot off the tree.

It's still — the ship is still sort of tangled in the tree and everybody's just sort of exploring the ship and checking things out. Right now?

You are in the bowels of the ship near the Aetherflow engine with everybody else while Cal and Deocita are inspecting.

Oz let's go to you. What are you up to right now?

I was saying Oz but you too will. can tell me – Zeki can tell me what to do with Oz?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 34:02

No I'm -I'm good you. I'm good. You guys go ahead. I'll settle in.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 34:09

Oz would be hanging out with the gear whistle. Kind of in between. Getting this engine going would be asking questions about Jerry 3.

So on and so forth.

Michael Stratis (GM) 34:23

Jerry 3. What do you want to know about Jerry 3? He's my buddy! Hey bud come over here c'mon! Come on guy c'mon and you see this right.

the slime is – it's not this big. It's imagine it … It's maybe the quarter of the size or an eighth the size of a normal one.

It's maybe this big and you just see it sort of slopping around the grounds towards you guys. And it just sort of comes over and it's sitting there in one of its. What do you call it? pra -up.

What's the word prog - Yeah Cynopod. One of those things comes out and sort of beckons towards Gear Whistle.

you see Gear Whistle pulls out a bit of old moldy bread and throws it to it. And he goes. He starts eating and goes you Jerry? love Oz you Jerry? He's my buddy.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 35:13

I do I'm strangely fascinated if i'm being perfectly honest. He's.

Michael Stratis (GM) 35:19

Here Feed him some! Here look and he hands you just this And when I say it's moldy bread its

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 35:26

It's mostly mold.

Michael Stratis (GM) 35:26

Ninety percent mole. Yeah. Exactly

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 35:32

how's this? that's wet.

There you go buddy! Here who's a good boy?

Michael Stratis (GM) 35:42

It gobbles it up. And it kind of slides over you and sits next to you.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 35:52

Do you pet him? Are you allowed to pet

zeratas. 35:56

Your hand just falls right into it.

Michael Stratis (GM) 35:56

No Don't tell him. Absolutely don't touch it. It'll burn your hand off. not do that. No

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 35:59

Okay. okay.

Michael Stratis (GM) 36:03

Give it food give it attention. Don't let it creep up on ya. What I normally do honestly. I don't poop over the side of the ship anymore. I just poop in his corner over there.

And he'll eat it right up. It's great.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 36:17

That's amazing! I hadn't thought of that implication. That is. I mean. You've just got built in Cleaning system that's fantastic!

Michael Stratis (GM) 36:29

We're sustainable here.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 36:33

I love it. low footprint everything hey what do you think?

I'm worried about being seen once we get airborne. Do you have any thoughts on how we might. Come up with some sort of a camouflage spell or a camo -flage.

What do you think about that?

Maybe something flock of birds or. Shadow or just some way to disguise ourselves.

zeratas. 37:03

The gas pigeon.

Michael Stratis (GM) 37:06

I think it's a great idea. I'll tell you though I don't think we should be staying here very long. Particularly if those Imperials have already.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 37:11

On the road.

Michael Stratis (GM) 37:13

I would think

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 37:13

Yeah that's definitely a down -the -road thing.

Michael Stratis (GM) 37:19

I think we need to find a safe place to take this thing. I was thinking that there's the village of New Vos A little bit north of here

It is where my mama and we came from

It might not be a bad place to set down. They tend to keep themselves those halflings and they're no friend of the empire I know that.

That might be a place to sit down if we needed to and there's a lot of smart people there. Maybe they have something that could maybe protect the ship I don't know.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 37:54

I think that's a fantastic idea.

Michael Stratis (GM) 37:57

Do you want me to write your map?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 38:00

That would be perfect yes.

Michael Stratis (GM) 38:01

Well I love maps. I love them.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 38:05

Gear Whistle you're my boy. Alright. Perfect. With a map and then I think that would give us what we need to go

Let's do a.

We'll cast a message to.

Who had the helm? On the top deck was that Dea Sita that was

Michael Stratis (GM) 38:38

Deiceta and Kalarup there

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 38:41

so Oz is going to cast Message at.

So you see the down here with gear whistle he says he can draw some map.

I think our target location is going to be New Voss. It's a town slightly north of here. Halflings mostly.

Not friendly to the Empire we might be able to lay low. But we should be able to make it.

Michael Stratis (GM) 39:14

Real quick.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 39:14

Maybe just check in with Cal.

Michael Stratis (GM) 39:17

Sorry while you're saying that. Zeki you hear them refer to Nivas? Which happens to be the town that you're from the village.

So you just hear them talking about the village that you originally came from.

Deosita he just messaged you. hear this in your head?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 39:43

I see this as let me know when the map is ready.

Michael Stratis (GM) 39:56

Go ahead Desi. What are you up to? What are you doing?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 39:59

Yeah they see the.

moves toward the edge of a ship and tries to get in.

How is this thing? Is it. one big branch that's holding us back or are we. Comprehensively. Nashed in this tree.

Michael Stratis (GM) 40:18

Roll an investigation check.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 40:20

would to help him with that action.

Michael Stratis (GM) 40:23

Roll it at advantage.

zeratas. 40:26

Incendals.

Michael Stratis (GM) 40:33

Nice.

16. So Cal sort of peers out the north end Deocita peers out the south end as you guys are sort of investigating – it's sort of wedged between two trees if you will.

You notice that the back here does not look too caught in the branches. However in the front the northeast.

Sorry the northeast and the southeast portion – the ship came in this headfirst and is really wedged into those trees.

There's pretty big branches that are stuck in the wood. It looks pretty north. gnarly.

But you do feel the ship is pulling away from it. There's a big tension against those branches images.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 41:29

We get the impression that if it weren't for those we would be floating higher or more freely.

And alright how thick are these branches that are holding us down?

Michael Stratis (GM) 41:44

Maybe the thickness of. Give me a bell.

Half a foot. To

They're pretty big branches that were.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 41:57

I'm going to message. And it would be lovely if this timed out perfectly so that he arrived.

I'm going to message reach into my pocket and pull out a little copper wire. And message Hess. And say.

Hey bro! I got. A little bit of an idea that you might be able to help with. If you can manage to make your way up the deck.

Michael Stratis (GM) 42:28

sure.

It takes him a little bit but Hess makes his way to the top floor and comes over and he goes. What do you eat Cal?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 42:42

Remember when you blew the shit out of everything in the entire room that we were in that dungeon?

See that wood right there? Any chance you can it again?

Michael Stratis (GM) 43:04

yeah. You see him sort of come over to.

Wood on the North.

He says man.

The spell that I used down there boy that would have just blown the shit out of those. That would but. I really need a long rest before i can

I'll that spell again. But I tell you what I mean it. could probably start burning some of the wood up here. Would that be helpful?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 43:42

Is any chance it would burn this? Wood -like boat that we're on.

Michael Stratis (GM) 43:49

Yeah you're probably right. Probably not a good idea.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 43:53

You see this?

Michael Stratis (GM) 43:53

I'll miss you.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 43:55

What about that magical invisible hand?

What that ability?

Michael Stratis (GM) 44:05

Mage Hand?

Is Daisy to have that spell? Yeah.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 44:10

They see that doesn't but he's asking. He remembers somebody who used it before.

Michael Stratis (GM) 44:16

He goes Yeah. I could use that but. It's not very strong. mean it can only lift about five pounds

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 44:37

Who else do we have with us?

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 44:41

anyone control.

Michael Stratis (GM) 44:47

Yeah let's go. Hold on while you guys are thinking. Sorry Will I've been ignoring ya. Let's go back down to the bowels of the ship. down here.

Osborne you and GearWistle are chatting. What's Sid Zindel and Zeki doing?

zeratas. 45:04

It's still. futzing around at the engine. And she's just starting to notice that. Every once in a while the.

The power levels are

And she's fine. Guys you notice that? Is anyone else noticing the parallels going up

I would say she's making some progress in understanding it but she's not getting it yet.

Michael Stratis (GM) 45:36

Roll another Arcana check. Let's see how you're progressing here.

You still have no fucking clue how this thing works but it is we've moved from Christmas to You know first night of honeymoon right now. you are in love with this engine.

zeratas. 45:57

And then. As the note the first time she turns around. And she sees a womb she. Here's Zindal.

And he's this is little nice tune. you mean this? And the lights she just sees the lights go that.

Then it'll do that again. I'm just sitting here not. Do it again. Do what? Do the fucking whistle! Vroom.

Tento come here! And she. Even though they're the same size I'm going to say she kind of just Pushes Zindal in of the engine and is Do it again Zindal.

I'm going to have myself as in the role of a performance.

Aw was almost 19. Are you kidding me?

Michael Stratis (GM) 47:08

The ship as he's whistling the ship stops responding to him for some reason.

zeratas. 47:20

to what you do. You're out of tune. We're almost there. I think I got it so far Zindel.

There's something that's going on where it needs. coalescence of. Some kind of. And the magic. We can't just shove magic into this thing.

something's holding it back. Hey surfer boy! Anything we stuck on anything up there?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 47:50

Did that go into my mind?

zeratas. 47:52

I'm assuming I can yell loud enough that he can hear me.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 47:56

I thought that was a message but Yeah that's up to Mike.

Michael Stratis (GM) 48:03

Was it message or was it just scream?

zeratas. 48:05

I'm screaming.

Michael Stratis (GM) 48:07

Can't hear you.

zeratas. 48:09

Okay Sid's going to Cyndal stay here. Don't touch anything but don't be afraid to. You know you're a bard buddy.

And she slaps him on the ass. I'm going to check out something and Sid goes upstairs.

Michael Stratis (GM) 48:25

Stid does? Or Zendel.

zeratas. 48:27

Yes it does.

Michael Stratis (GM) 48:29

Okay maybe

zeratas. 48:30

okay. I'll try and Zendel's trying out.

Michael Stratis (GM) 48:35

So Sid passes you Zeki and starts climbing up. What are you up to Zeki?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 48:43

So Zeki overheard the mention of NuVos and then is kind of very nervously pacing kind of back and forth around the ship.

Kind of mumbling quietly to himself NuVos is okay. Home NUVAS is okay. Home

Deki is okay. Nuvasa's okay and he just kind of keeps pacing back and forth until he eventually starts to calm himself down.

Michael Stratis (GM) 49:16

Your whistle turns to Osborne. What's going on with him? Is he okay?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 49:20

The following is an utterance. Yeah no I'm seeing that too. It is a key. Buddy.

What's going on?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 49:31

Are we going to Nuvas?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 49:32

you need to talk? we were kicking it around is there.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 49:34

We're going to a new cast.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 49:39

Have you been?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 49:42

Yes I know it well. I haven't been there in a very long time.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 49:47

Well I mean. That's great. I mean home is where the heart is right? I mean maybe you can.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 49:53

I had to leave.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 49:55

You had to leave.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 49:57

I had to leave there.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 50:03

Nobody. Okay?

I see okay.

Here's the thing.

We can't stay here. Because they're coming back and if they come back there's a good chance we are all going to die.

And. We need some place safe to go for the night. Would you be okay if we just stayed on the ship tonight?

And we just parked. Near New Vos tonight. Would that be okay?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 50:42

I know we need to go. I'm just scared.

zeratas. 50:47

But Zendel's going to start to play in the background notices not. just

The scare the uncertainty. And he just starts to play a tune just to relax him of this not trying to be calm down but it's just a tune to help him relax.

back to slide.

Michael Stratis (GM) 51:08

Go a performance check.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 51:11

Guidance.

zeratas. 51:11

We're here to God D &D Beyond.

Michael Stratis (GM) 51:20

Plus I think Oz gave you guidance as well.

What's that Scott? Is that a. D6 so he adds that.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 51:26

That is a.

Guidance is A.

Michael Stratis (GM) 51:46

So you got 15 -point movie rolling D4. There

zeratas. 51:48

four.

Michael Stratis (GM) 51:51

Nineteen the music Zeki that you're listening to is sort of cutting through some of your memories and some of the paralysis in your mind right now.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 52:04

That's nice music.

zeratas. 52:06

Thanks man. Yes you know what? I always playing stuff this. Sid said something about I need to get my music game going strong but I feel we all just need a little nice background relaxation.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 52:18

I your music. And you're funny.

zeratas. 52:24

And I go and just pat.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 52:28

And I your hat.

zeratas. 52:29

Thank you.

Michael Stratis (GM) 52:33

All right. Meanwhile what are we doing?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 52:33

Amen. It'll be all right you'll be alright just stick nearby it's just for tonight and then we can talk about anything you want to talk about that need

You're with your friends you are with the crew. We got your back all right?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 52:50

Thanks Oz you have big ears.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 52:53

I know. I take after my dad. But

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 53:01

You're good friends.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 53:09

Is the meta question. Is the loot still the captain's loot is that still nearby?

Michael Stratis (GM) 53:18

It is in his — nobody took it. It's in his captain's chambers.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 53:27

Cause there was a music.

Michael Stratis (GM) 53:27

I am going to now flip up.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 53:30

There was a music book there too right? Okay.

Michael Stratis (GM) 53:32

he had a little music diary and the diary was taken by Zindal. So Zindal has that now but he didn't take the loot.

Let's cut up to Cal Hess and Deacita up on the top decks. What are you guys

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 53:54

Are any of the branches that.

We then arm's reach. A long sword.

Michael Stratis (GM) 54:03

There are yeah there's a few.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 54:07

DataCity is going to hack it. Whatever he can reach.

Michael Stratis (GM) 54:14

So what I want you to do for this is I first want you to roll an attack. Don't die to tell me how you're contacting.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 54:29

Longsword strike.

Should I have clicked the plus 5 before the 1d8 plus 3 or just. I clicked the one D8 plus. Sorry I clicked it all the time.

Is that ebb 5 to whatever I rolled in?

Michael Stratis (GM) 54:57

Yes it should unless you press the plus six.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 55:00

Press the 1dA plus 3.

Michael Stratis (GM) 55:01

Let us see.

So you would add three to whatever 1d8 you rolled.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 55:11

Whenever you're making an attack there's two actions. There's.

Whether or not you hit and then there's the damage that you do. So if you're looking at the plus 5 the plus five is to hit.

You are making an attack against whatever its AC is. So that's the D20.

Then that is what your attack is. And Mike will say whether that hits or not. And then if you hit then you do the 1d8 plus.

And that determines how much damage you did. There's two stages to every time you attack anything.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 55:51

I had thought Mike said to just do the one stage.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 55:55

Did I just go off on a diatribe for no reason?

Michael Stratis (GM) 55:58

No You're right. I just wanted him to roll attack first and tell me what he got. And that'll tell me – this is rather –

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 56:02

All right sorry. So do roll a d12.

Michael Stratis (GM) 56:06

Yeah just roll a d20 and then add your modifier. So I think your modifier for a long shortage is probably plus five or plus six something that i'm guessing.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 56:17

So do I roll the regular d20 or I roll the plus 5?

Michael Stratis (GM) 56:20

Yeah. So either way if you go to your actions. Find your longsword and you'll see hit slash DC. It's usually a plus five or plus four.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 56:30

So I should hit that.

Michael Stratis (GM) 56:31

Yeah. if you do that what it'll see is roll to 15 and then it will automatically add five to that so you got the 20. So you today see.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 56:39

I think i've been under rolling one.

Michael Stratis (GM) 56:42

so Dei Seed is going there and starting to hack at the branches with his longsword and actually doing some – he's hitting it pretty hard. Now I want you to roll damage to tell me how much you're doing damage.

As you go.

So nine. So you are In one fell swoop you're cutting through branches on that bottom side and you're working your way as much as you can around the edges of the tree hacking away at that.

Cal you up to?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 57:15

Wow so I'm seeing him. doing that. And is it?

Michael Stratis (GM) 57:20

It's kind of scaring you how efficient he is with his long sword. He's just hacking the shit out of these things chopping them up.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 57:28

And do I get the sense that's the only one holding us back or is there another as well?

Michael Stratis (GM) 57:33

On your side there you could see branches embedded in the ship and where the ships sort of crashed into it.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 57:46

Alright in that case. I mean can i reach with my long sword? I don't have a

I have a short sword. Am I able to reach with my short sword to attack things? Is it a boron bicep?

Michael Stratis (GM) 58:01

it is a little out of your reach with the short sword. It's just – I mean you might be able to hit a few smaller ones. If you'd

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 58:09

The bulk of it is going into the hull right?

So I will say hey you are. Killin' it! Great work. I will definitely hire you for all my landscaping needs in the future.

I'm going to try and give you a boost by knocking this little. Jabby guy out of the hall. So I'm going to go and slide down. See if I can see.

I'll gauge it's either you know in the center or the a center deck or the. You know somewhere in the middle. That branch must be coming through if it's penetrating the hull.

So I'm going to try to go down inside and see if I can kind of hack at it from the inside.

Michael Stratis (GM) 58:55

Very well. Yeah you get down to. Here. And you see that there's one big branch sticking into the hull. the hole.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 59:07

I'm gonna start beating the shit out of that thing. I will use a short sword to do so.

Michael Stratis (GM) 59:15

Roll for attack please and thank you.

I mean it's right in front of you. It's right in front to you. So you're just hacking at it. It's really easy.

zeratas. 59:35

You slip.

Michael Stratis (GM) 59:36

It's really easy to hit but it's almost Too bendy? You know what I mean? So as you hit it you're not getting a lot of purchase on it. But you're working at it.

You're working it.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 59:50

I can re -roll that.

I forget why but i will tell you shortly.

Michael Stratis (GM) 60:01

it's one of your feeds probably right?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 60:03

Yeah so it's seven. And I will look it for what the feat is that allows me to do that so that you

Savage Attacker

In when you hit a target with a weapon. You can roll the weapons damage twice and use. So seven instead of a four. Take that extra damage.

Michael Stratis (GM) 60:27

you hit it with a Yeah exactly. you're hitting it and it's bending and you're not getting purchase on it And it kind of pisses you off And you go mother And you hit it really hard And you snap it And it breaks

And you guys feel the ship It kind of shakes a little bit and everyone feels the front sort of

Move upwards in line with the back. And it feels you've broken through. The grasping trees and now are hovering wholly on your own.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 61:00

Looking through the hole can I see that we're. Currently rising or that we are

Michael Stratis (GM) 61:06

You're you're.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 61:06

think it's kind of.

Michael Stratis (GM) 61:09

You are hovering above the tree about.

But it seems seemingly free of the tree at least from what you can tell.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 61:21

We'll give her a rowdy. Huzzah! And then try to make my way back up through the top deck.

Michael Stratis (GM) 61:29

Very well. At this stage anybody that wants to go can go.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 61:37

Seki goes up.

Michael Stratis (GM) 61:40

All right. Zeki are you going to go to the top deck? Are you gonna go to the middle deck? Where

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 61:46

Zeki is kind of shocked with excitement and wants to see what's going on so he sprints all the way up.

Michael Stratis (GM) 61:54

You guys see Zeki sort of emerge from here running up and peering over the edge of the ship in amazement.

What you guys doing?

zeratas. 62:34

Sid's going to finally head back up. And notice that. We're making progress. And so how.

Still constrained are we?

Michael Stratis (GM) 62:49

You are free of the ship feels it's hovering on its own.

Gear Whistle is going to say to I think it's just Oz down there now. With him he's gonna go looks we're free!

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 63:08

Yeah How many. members do you think it takes typically to run the ship?

Michael Stratis (GM) 63:18

Well mean somebody should stay down here and watch this engine to make sure it doesn't go out. mean – hey Zindal! What about you and me? We can hang by the ship.

Seems the ship kind of likes your music when you're not sucking. And yeah we could maybe stay by the Etherflow engine. What do you think?

zeratas. 63:37

I think that's a good shot Bird Boy.

Michael Stratis (GM) 63:41

So you guys go over to the engine sort of post up there and he yells back to Osborne. He says look I don't know how the helm works. next time.

You guys are going to have to figure it out. I'll keep watch on this with Zindal and.

And maybe Jerry will keep his company too. But just tell the guys I think we're free. We just need to figure out how this to move this thing.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 64:04

Alright no worries. one last thing on that map we don't happen to. Have even just something quick that quick and dirty that we could.

Michael Stratis (GM) 64:20

yeah. Here you see him go into his I mean he's wearing this leather stuff with a cloak over him but he's got gadgets and gizmos aplenty. He pulls out.

zeratas. 64:30

As it then gives those a plenty.

Michael Stratis (GM) 64:33

He pulls out a little piece of paper with some charcoal and he starts drawing the little map for you. And -and he hands it to you. And it looks this.

zeratas. 64:51

Looks Osborne.

Michael Stratis (GM) 64:53

So he goes look. He points he goes look we're here. And he points to right to hear this

He draws this sketch of an airship. And he goes look Voss is just to the east of us a couple of days here.

And then he said and then he draws. He goes the Eagle and Child Inn is down here. There's a couple of farms down this way. I forget the name of the people but anyway there's some farms here. Yeah this is where we are.

But look if we can get this thing up and we go north and Let's do He keeps jotting some things. You follow the river will lead you there. It eventually gets to Nervos.

Right here. If that's where we want to go I'm telling you I feel that's a place to put down or we can go deep in the forest. I think we should just stay away from the west because once we get past the forest

Montamore is. And airships and it's just – we'll be seen for sure.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 65:53

Yeah I think you're right. I think we got to. We basically just got to get up get out of here. We can put down somewhere safe.

And then just get the lay of land figure out what we need to do.

This is a shakedown cruise that's what this is. So we gotta get the bugs worked out so.

Really appreciate it.

We'll do our best. Hang on it might get a bit bumpy because I don't know about y 'all but ain't never flown myself an airship before!

You see him yeah.

Michael Stratis (GM) 66:30

Yeah.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 66:31

You see him he's.

zeratas. 66:33

Zendel magically turns into an air guitar.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 66:36

Yeah.

Michael Stratis (GM) 66:39

Geer Whistle walks over to the hatch and closes it up to almost prepare for liftoff. And you see him lock in and he goes Jerry!

Latch down somewhere I don't know how these guys are going to fly this thing.

All right so you go into the top.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 66:58

And we'll take the. Other ballista that's unoccupied at the moment. Just to for. Want of

Needing to be

Michael Stratis (GM) 67:17

What's everybody else doing that's on the main deck?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 67:20

and This is Sita because he was the last one to have the helm. Oz would hand the map.

Michael Stratis (GM) 67:33

Gear Whistle didn't give you the map. In fact he went to – you reached out for it and as we were reaching He kind of just wrinkled it up with his hands and put into his pocket.

Not in a shady way but it's just an absent -minded way.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 67:47

Okay

So I would need to redo that interaction then.

We need to look for a river. We need to go north.

Michael Stratis (GM) 68:19

You're saying that's a hoot deus cedar?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 68:22

There is a map.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 68:25

I away but i'm back. you seen Sinodosian?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 68:31

Oz just came topside hey man. There is a map. I saw it its beautiful.

I think Gear Whistle is a little attached to it so he might be one of those artists that's know they do the art. And then you're just there to witness it.

But it's not really for public consumption. But I witnessed it so. I'm going to tell you. There's a whole bunch of other shit that we can't get into right now.

Basically we're going to head north. We're going to look for a river. We're going to follow the river north.

zeratas. 69:07

Messed around the riverbent.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 69:08

If we need more details we can maybe ask him again.

and also Ixnay on the. Inivasne?

around Zeki. He seems to be real sensitive to that so just a heads up on that we're probably gonna have to make sure that we are

Not leaving the ship tonight because. Something happened there and I didn't get all the details yet.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 69:43

I heard that. I know we're going to NuVos.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 69:49

We're not leaving the ship tonight buddy.

zeratas. 69:50

Then just starts playing his guitar the road to El Dorado.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 69:51

We're not leaving this ship.

At least the way it was drawn to the map it seems it's going to be a little bit of travel anyways.

zeratas. 70:13

My quick meta point can I assume Zindal has a long rest?

Okay so what stats he has?

Michael Stratis (GM) 70:23

Well you guys had spent the night – the prior night. But then you were woke – so you had a long rest then but then you woke up.

If you recall you woke up to gunfire and sprinted with the horses and then immediately engaged in the battle.

So you haven't had a chance to really get a good long rest.

zeratas. 70:44

Okay. Very good thanks.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 70:48

Well I will. So as I was trying to do before I will try to go and man that other ballista. And keep a track of. Generally if there's any. kind of movement.

We're out there. I'm going to bring out a little. Notepad and I'm going to just. Jot down. As we're moving.

Any observations and just basic. Landscape. Transformations and stuff that I'm observing.

Michael Stratis (GM) 71:23

Roll Perception check.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 71:33

On mine it looked a 15 but.

Michael Stratis (GM) 71:36

You look out at the forest. And unfortunately right in front of you that is a – you notice that there was this – if you recall there was just

Rope that was tied to the tree. And you start looking at it Sort of getting distracted and start drawing the rope.

And you start getting really detailed with how you're drawing it. looks really good just the rope. And you just that's what you start doing. get real distracted.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 72:08

I did - And you're out Tee. Listed beforehand right?

Michael Stratis (GM) 72:13

Yes you did. the ballista as far. You had already investigated it really well so you feel you're standing there and now you are gazing out and just got distracted when looking around but you didn't see anything anybody approaching the ship.

right. Nothing. Unordinary.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 72:35

We removed the branches but were still tied to the ground.

Michael Stratis (GM) 72:39

There is a rope. To the north of Cal. That is tied to a tree yes.

If you recall I think one of the Kenku might have ran to it to try and escape. It seems almost a way to get off the ship quickly if he needed too.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 72:58

We retract that rope.

Michael Stratis (GM) 73:00

Yeah you absolutely can. You don't even need to roll something just go over it and untie it and let it go.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 73:10

can see that it cow.

You retract that rope. do it so i'm right there.

Michael Stratis (GM) 73:21

Yeah you go ahead. You untie it. falls. There's nothing to your knowledge that is holding. This ship close to the ground other than the helm.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 73:36

You let it go so that it fell down.

Michael Stratis (GM) 73:38

Yeah he untied it. From the ship and then just threw it off to the end. It was tied to the ship and it was tied to the rope – sorry the tree. a far tree. And he did – it was almost a zip line if you could think about that way.

And he just untied it from the ship and just threw it overboard. It wasn't taut either because – it has some loop to it still

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 74:02

It wasn't Alright just to be clear. Just because I'm standing there watching this. Here's what I'm trying to avoid. Is there any -

Is it something we just shed this thing along our pathway that might give an indication as to what path we were headed?

Or was it something that was already taught to something else and regardless of where this ship went.

because it was a zipline to far enough distance that would have just fallen at some point and.

Michael Stratis (GM) 74:36

Yeah latter. It seemed to be something that the Kenkus tied to the ship to give them a quick exit if they had to.

It didn't seem it was something that was an anchor or something from the ship. If that's what you're asking it also.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 74:52

Or what else? Is to make sure that it didn't give away our trajectory.

Michael Stratis (GM) 75:00

I don't think it would have. I think it would be really difficult to. really surmise anything from that other than there's a rope tied to a tree for some reason.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 75:09

All in that case then I'll.

Michael Stratis (GM) 75:09

So what would give away your trajectory is that there are two trees underneath you that are smashed. So clearly something's smashed into it. I don't know if it would tell you what direction you flew but – know what I mean?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 75:22

Yeah think that it'll be clear something happened here. Once we've picked it up into the air and moved in any general direction,

Michael Stratis (GM) 75:29

you're good.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 75:29

There's no indicator. We're not dropping pieces as we go.

Michael Stratis (GM) 75:33

No I don't think so. You're literally – all you're doing right now is levitating two feet above those two trees. literally two feet it's that much.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 75:42

we haven't moved. haven't even started moving yet.

Michael Stratis (GM) 75:46

Correct at all.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 75:50

Anyone working on how to make it? So. Other directions then.

zeratas. 76:00

I'm trying! I'm having bad luck tonight but apparently the ship Zindal. I don't know this. It's making a little bit of sense to me but.

I feel I'm almost there. Now that we're free maybe the engine's a little easier to work with. And I can get something going.

Michael Stratis (GM) 76:21

Is this Sid talking?

So Sid are you up at the helm?

zeratas. 76:28

Yeah I thought I went up a level.

Michael Stratis (GM) 76:31

I know you're on the top deck but are you up at the helm? Where are you on the top deck is what I'm asking.

zeratas. 76:37

I would say I'm still in the middle.

Good job surfer boy. Looks we're free! Yeah I think I'm almost there. Now that we're free maybe. I can give it another shot. Did you guys?

Sorry I snoozed off for a bit when we first woke up. But did you guys see anything else that could help me maybe get the ship going?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 77:12

Here's a steering wheel.

Did you try the steering wheel?

Casita was looking at the steering wheel.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 77:26

Yeah if I walk up and look at it. to how familiar or unfamiliar this steering mechanism would be.

Michael Stratis (GM) 77:34

Roll an investigation check.

Give me one second please.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 77:49

on a school bus. And everyone's trying to adjust the windows of the school bus in this. looking for seatbelts to try and figure out how to steer the damn thing but nobody's sitting in the. I've received.

Michael Stratis (GM) 78:26

You look at this helm and it is unlike. Anything you've ever seen Deacita.

It has all sorts of different levers this a wheel.

The wheel seems to be attached to certain gears that make it almost three -dimensional.

Hold it this. There's also gems and crystals sort of embedded in the helm itself. The helmet looks made from expertly carved wood.

It looks very complicated. But also strangely ergonomic.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 79:22

Did Rob have manuals on this thing?

But have manuals.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 79:34

He had some Empire manuals and something else.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 79:38

It seems he's going to turn around and look in that chest.

Michael Stratis (GM) 79:43

The chest is unlocked you open it up and there are. Several spear slash javelins that seem to be the ammunition for the. Ballista.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 79:56

What about in the chest and front of the stern?

Michael Stratis (GM) 80:00

you go to the chest in front of the steering.

Unfortunately it just looks odd things. there's some rope in its. That's about it.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 80:20

You see the yells down. The deck below says ask Gear Whistle how to fly this there.

Michael Stratis (GM) 80:31

You guys relay back to him. He's two fours down so you'd never yell to him but I'll assume that you guys sort of

Sid sort of ran down and got his attention. Gear whistle comes up to the top deck he goes. What are you guys doing? Why are we not flying?

zeratas. 80:52

I'm trying!

Michael Stratis (GM) 80:56

Sid come here.

right Sid walks over and so Gear Whistle's inspecting the helm and he goes. looks complicated key to this hell but it looks there's one lever

any points someone he goes that seems to You

zeratas. 81:18

It completely ignores him and pulls it.

Michael Stratis (GM) 81:22

Zynd did this? roll a you know what? Roll an Arcana check. Why not?

zeratas. 81:34

fuck it. I'm done.

Michael Stratis (GM) 81:39

You pull this lever and you pull it a little too hard and a little too fast with a little too much spunk. The ship. Goes completely vertical.

an elevator up into the sky. you all everyone gasps their whole heart goes into their stomach.

And you see.

zeratas. 82:07

Stars.

Michael Stratis (GM) 82:08

You're all freaking out but then you all look out across the ship.

And you're about I don't know 100 meters up and you see the cradle wood forest you never have before.

zeratas. 82:25

A whole new world.

Michael Stratis (GM) 82:27

It's not later in the day sort of towards the evening. You see.

The beautiful conifers of the northern Cradlewood Forest sort of expand northward as the forest becomes a little bit more hilly.

You notice to your – to the east a –

sort of a river that cuts through the forest. To your west you see the forests dissipate into a smaller forest and then ultimately to the plains beyond. You all — none of you have ever experienced being this high or for

off the ground before and you're all taken back in awe. All of you. I said all a lot. As you look out at the Craterwood Forest.

zeratas. 83:16

It's

You just hear the distance. Gronk Ron lever! sorry guys. It's flying now!

Michael Stratis (GM) 83:32

You guys are hovering now I don't know 200 -300 feet above the ground.

John Ferreira (Deicida [PC]) 83:42

The series is. Ear whistle.

Move forward.

Michael Stratis (GM) 83:51

well you know. Are you gonna wait for me to explain before you touch anything Sid?

zeratas. 83:57

Yeah. it's just Desperate boy.

Michael Stratis (GM) 84:03

Look I know how to cast Featherfall. I don't know about you guys. So you're fucked if you fall off of this thing I'm just telling ya.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 84:15

You see Oz brushing

Michael Stratis (GM) 84:15

Let me see here.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 84:17

vomit off the front of his breastplate and

Michael Stratis (GM) 84:19

His lapel.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 84:21

then. Yeah he's shaking out his cloak and garments. Then you see him surreptitiously take a length of rope We'll be

And tie it around his waist. And then loop it around some of the railing around the ballista a few times and.

He harnesses himself in. It's just Sid. For the love of fuck please don't do that again.

zeratas. 84:49

Sorry everyone.

Michael Stratis (GM) 84:53

All right so. Sid I want you to roll an arcana check with advantage. What - is happening right now is.

Gear Whistle is trying to convey to you how. these gears. And the

do you call the wheel? I guess the wheel of a ship. how that all operates he's trying as best as he could figure out so i want you to roll an Arcanus check with.

Advantage for both him conveying something to you and your understanding.

zeratas. 85:28

Are kidding me?

So 15.

Michael Stratis (GM) 85:34

15 very well. He explains to you – he shows me the gears that they're sort of gears that go …

Almost a helicopter will take you up and down. The controls are very.

That of a helicopter almost the wheel itself is really for the pitch of the ship and turning it that. And then the gears sort of tell you how fast you're going if that makes sense? Does

All right. So he explains to you some of the mechanics but as you go to do them I want you to roll one more Arcana check.

zeratas. 86:20

for fuck's sake. Are you kidding me? That's a. 6 -11

Michael Stratis (GM) 86:27

11. you. At first I think you kind of get the gist of it. But then as you push the gear to start moving forward,

You push it a little too hard and the ship starts Pitching downwards. I want everybody. On the top deck. To roll a dexterity check.

zeratas. 86:50

So I'm on the top deck right?

Michael Stratis (GM) 86:50

Sorry I think a dexterity saving throw. Excuse me a dexterity save and throw. So who's on the top deck? I can tell you. Well you guys can tell me.

zeratas. 86:59

Eighteen.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 87:05

gonna cast guidance on myself.

Michael Stratis (GM) 87:22

will work for Zucki.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 87:23

Well although I did — Oz did rope himself in so that.

Michael Stratis (GM) 87:32

All right. Zeki and I need you guys to roll dexterity saving throws as the ship sort of sprints forward because

Sid was a little bit too overeager. And using the controls Cal 18 very well. Zachy what do you got here?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 87:53

even though that says 18 i actually hit the wrong thing and i did a dexterity check so it would actually be in Dirty 20.

Michael Stratis (GM) 88:02

Very well. And then Zeki you got a 10?

Everyone pitches forward. Oz in particular because he tied the rope around him is okay.

okay except for F***ing

Zeki who was sort of looking in all out at the this beautiful sunrise or sorry sunsets. Heels forward.

and Zeki I would you to make an athletics check please. thank you 15.

zeratas. 88:43

Nice knowing you buddy.

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 88:48

He's not very athletic.

Michael Stratis (GM) 88:53

your frail little body flies over the what? The railing,

And you see the cradlewood forest below you as you fling over but your little hand grabs.

Hold of the gun port and you're hanging here from the gun ports.

Hess starts freaking out. Guys He fell over. And Overboard!

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 89:28

Help!

Michael Stratis (GM) 89:29

Halfling overboard. Half -man overboard.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 89:39

How far down is the gun port?

Michael Stratis (GM) 89:42

It's a deck below so it's good seven feet down.

Maybe 10 yeah 7 feet up about I'd say.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 89:53

Is there any access from the interior of the ship or can it only be accessed from.

Michael Stratis (GM) 89:58

There's access from the interior of the ship but he's on the outside of the dome.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 90:18

There was a rope inside the one chest that Deocita looked in wasn't there.

Michael Stratis (GM) 90:25

Yeah right here there was.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 90:27

Grab a rope out of there. and lower it down to them.

zeratas. 90:34

Zendel's in the background. We're going to cast do I still have it?

He's going to cast a bardic inspiration. you can do it! Hey non -little buddy!

Michael Stratis (GM) 90:49

Who are you doing? Are you getting on Zeki? Tech you are now inspired my friend.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 90:58

Hess is here.

Michael Stratis (GM) 91:00

Yes. Has

Are you there as Chinese?

zeratas. 91:06

Run.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 91:07

Can you hear me?

Michael Stratis (GM) 91:08

Yeah we can hear you. So. Very quick summary so. The this. Episode picked up right where you guys left off. You had operated the airship.

Oz learned a bunch of information about The about Jerry three and.

And a few others sort of you included in Deacy to sort of investigate the ship. and ultimately

You guys got the ship. Freed Sid — Gear Whistle's telling Sid how to operate the helm. Sid got a little over.

zeratas. 91:57

considers listening very well.

Michael Stratis (GM) 92:00

Yeah Sid got a little over eager and made the ship sort of rise up really high in the air about 200 -300 feet. You guys have got a beautiful evening view of the Cradlewood wood forest.

then Sid tried to move the ship forward but sort of didn't realize how much — how little effort it would take to make it go fast. And the whole thing pitched forward.

passed their saving throws other than. Zeki who just flew.

Off the ship and luckily grasped onto the Western gunport and is holding on to it right now.

You are the one that you're.

zeratas. 92:46

I'm inspiredly holding on to it right now.

Michael Stratis (GM) 92:49

But very much inspired by Zendel's rousing performance. But Hess you are right next to him. He is about 7 feet down from the top deck. What would you to do?

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 93:03

Open right?

Michael Stratis (GM) 93:05

gun port has. glass on it that's been broken. So there are some open spots but he's holding onto the frame of it right now.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 93:18

In that case I'll shout Zeki hold on. And then I'm going downstairs to the. Inside of that gun port because if I just. to dive over the side of him.

To do some fancy acrobatics to not die when I hit the ground.

Michael Stratis (GM) 93:32

Very well you run down as quickly as you can. You kind of go into the gun port. The gunport itself is very messy that the cannon has been removed.

For a while inside is what looks to be almost a nest. clearly one of the Kenku brothers slept there and was a slob. There's bird shit everywhere.

There's little baubles here or there etc. F***ing next time. And as you walk in you see Zeki's little halfling form grasping this.

The wind is blowing through his hair and he's just freaking out.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 94:11

So is he hanging from above me i. e. grasped onto the top of the sponson? Am I able to reach out and grab Broken

Michael Stratis (GM) 94:22

Reach out and touch me. No there's grass in the frames. There are some areas that are broken.

Yeah. Well are you going to try to break the glass? Is that what you're trying to do?

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 94:40

What? Ideally no. was hoping there'd be a. big enough opening to pull him in through.

Michael Stratis (GM) 94:46

There is not. There's lots of bits and pieces that are broken.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 94:52

Is there a big enough opening to reach out? Grab onto him. Probably not incur any damage while I at least let him not fall off.

Michael Stratis (GM) 95:03

you could probably get an arm through one of the holes And sort of grab his leg if that's what you're trying to do.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 95:11

that case then I. my plan yes is to in fact break more glass out so that i can get a safer hold of him.

Michael Stratis (GM) 95:18

I want you to roll a attack an unarmed shrike attack please.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 95:25

Am I permitted to grab a dagger out and use the back end? for the dagger to bash.

Michael Stratis (GM) 95:30

Even better than Rolv DaggerTech.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 95:34

me find.

This phone is pretty disorganized.

How's the 19 do?

Michael Stratis (GM) 96:04

You pull out your dagger and with the hilt you go tss. And it breaks that in the movies. It's just

And a whole frame just shatters and you're able to grab onto his body.

In a very effective manner you can pull them in if you'd to. You just have to roll a.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 96:25

athletics check.

Michael Stratis (GM) 96:27

grab. yeah grab it.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 96:29

mean grapple would be an unarmed attack.

Michael Stratis (GM) 96:37

would say do an athletics

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 96:37

Athletics.

Michael Stratis (GM) 96:39

check.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 96:41

This is not going to be great. shit. that was a one. Plus my one bonus would make it

Michael Stratis (GM) 96:51

It seems a very cold wind has picked up and you are grabbing onto him. But it's fluttering around and it's hitting your face and you're just kind of this.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 97:03

Yeah huh?

Michael Stratis (GM) 97:03

Let's get started. You know What's everybody else doing right now?

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 97:10

I think i'm stuck. I probably have broken glass in me now.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 97:15

Wasn't Oz getting a rope?

Michael Stratis (GM) 97:18

Yeah Oz. What are you doing?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 97:21

Oz was going to take the other rope from the chest and basically tie it off to a railing.

and then lower it down over the side. Originally he was just going to lower a rope down. And try and hoist Zecky up. So.

He will do that after. untying himself from the ballista. Retying himself back to the side of the ship so he is now no longer going

To walk around topside without least being anchored in at least one spot. So he will be tied in on the railing over by Zeki. We will lower another rope down.

And say grab on.

Michael Stratis (GM) 98:13

All right Oz. I want you to roll a sleight of hands check for the tying of all this stuff.

And then I won.

want Zeki to roll an athletics check with advantage. Since you're helping him if you're choosing to grab onto that Zeki.

21 okay. Oz you tie down as best you can and your fear is sort of Fueling your tying and you tie some damn fine knots.

And you hand down the Rope to Zeki. you grasp onto the rope and start.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 98:54

Got my Shibari badge and scouts.

Michael Stratis (GM) 98:55

music.

And start grabbing onto the rope. You're now holding the rope but your foot slips clips. And you slip off. of the

The gun port and you swing with the rope. This way and it drops because its got a little bit of slack. And it swings.

But then it goes taught and it's very tightly. attached to the ship. You are hanging now - Holding this little fit this bit of rope. What's everybody else doing?

Will Imbriale (Zecki [PC]) 99:33

Help! Help!

Michael Stratis (GM) 99:35

Yeah.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 99:43

Help someone! My effort seems to have failed. I made it worse.

zeratas. 99:52

What does Cid see around her watching him?

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 99:52

How much does Zeke what do you weigh?

Michael Stratis (GM) 99:57

Sid you are hovering about 300 feet above the Griddlewood Forest. It's a beautiful winter sunset.

zeratas. 100:05

no sorry I meant on the ship.

Michael Stratis (GM) 100:08

on the ship. Well Gear Whistle is staring in horror at the scene of what Oz just did and that Zeki's dangling. You see Cal.

Hanging out by the ballista by himself.

zeratas. 100:21

Do I what do I say? Sorry. What if we see supplies wise or.

Michael Stratis (GM) 100:26

I'm sorry.

zeratas. 100:27

Yeah you're good.

Michael Stratis (GM) 100:28

You see there's a chest in front of you. That I swear to grab rope from. There's a chest behind you that has a bunch of those javelins in

The rest of the deck looks very clear of any objects of use. These two pillars go up where the envelope of ship is and there's

I forget what it's called but the there's rope that you can climb on all around the envelope.

And then in the front you see this big wheel that has a some form of a. Anchor on it as well. That's about it. And you see a chest at the front of the ship.

zeratas. 101:14

Is the ballista I'm next? How far way is he?

how far down the rope I'd say.

Michael Stratis (GM) 101:23

He's hanging now below the ship. So he's about.

He's about 30 feet down. Hanging right at the bottom of the ship would be 30 feet tall -ish.

zeratas. 101:40

And the ship is. stable this.

Michael Stratis (GM) 101:44

Yes you're levitating about. 300 feet above the cradle hood forest.

zeratas. 101:52

Ear with salt.

Sorry everyone. Gear Whistle I'm about to pull what's called a Pro Gamer Move! I think i know how to fly this ship finally. And. I'm going to go to the controls.

For the one that handles the altitude.

I think got a good handle on this now. I'm going to just kind of. Drop the altitude one really quickly. So.

So the ship drops so quickly that Zeki just stays. And

Michael Stratis (GM) 102:31

Is that what you're trying to do? Roll an Arconacek.

zeratas. 102:44

What the hell?

Michael Stratis (GM) 102:45

Bye guys. All right. Tell me what you did Sage. Tell me what she did. Wow.

zeratas. 102:56

So it's

Even Sparky the squirrel you see a little squirrel.

And Syd's okay I got this. Secky! It just winks at him and just goes

And the ship drops in altitude. Everyone's weightless for a second as Zeki is just hanging on and it's that meme from Umbrella Academy where eventually we're just

The ship dropped so fast that Zeki is just in midair. The slack hasn't caught up yet and we're just looking at him? And. He just falls onto the ship as the ship catches up with him.

Michael Stratis (GM) 103:36

He falls right on the ship as a ship catches up to him. I want everybody on the ship. To roll a 1d6 bludgeoning damage.

zeratas. 103:47

Yeah.

Michael Stratis (GM) 103:49

Everybody on the ship but Sid who's totally fine.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 103:52

I was gonna say what happens to the rest of us that. You're also. To come to gravity in some way.

Michael Stratis (GM) 104:02

You all take. you all smash into the ground of the ship as it plummets almost 100 feet instantaneously. I love that.

Hopefully he's glad.

zeratas. 104:13

Everyone else is this and Sid's standing up yeah! We got him!

Michael Stratis (GM) 104:18

Gear whistle is what the fuck are you doing? Be gentle with her So Gear Whistle works with you a little bit.

Sid sort of helps you with the helm and you sort of start getting the feeling of at least understanding how to not kill everybody on the ship.

You rise again to that about 300 feet above the cradle wood forest and you all peer out now. over the

The sun at this point is starting to set.

As I said before to the West.

The Cradlewood Forest starts to thin out as it sort of meets the plains. To the east you see a river sort of cutting -knifing through the forest north.

As you look towards the south West. as -as the.

Cradle Wood Forest sort of gives way to the plains. You see this hill and on top of this hill you can see this beautiful massive.

With a.

With three large aqueducts.

And when I say large it's the size of the very top of the citadel on the city is where it meets the city. They look they were almost crafted by.

beings that were you know a hundred times the size of a human being. These aqueducts that flow north. They feed into this city and you all recognize it as the famous Monta Amor.

With the aqueducts that you know legend had said that giants had built them as a. As reparations for an ancient war against the empire.

To the east you just see the Cradlewood Forest get thicker and denser. And you see kind of far in the distance.

The what looks to be the that big. Lake. that Voss is situated on. What would you guys to do? Which way would you to head?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 106:36

What was the first?

zeratas. 106:37

Sid starts walking towards the helm. And Zindal's just no!

Michael Stratis (GM) 106:45

What was that Eric was the question?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 106:47

What was the first direction that had the citadel? What cardinal direction was that?

Michael Stratis (GM) 106:56

The Citadel was the. At the top of Monto Amor which is. So Monto Amor. What do you know from. ? Normal. The knowledge is.

It's the largest city -state in this area of the empire. It's very wealthy. It's a city that's built on a. Large Hill.

Is where the Cradlewood Forest meets The Great Plains. And it's a city that had become rich because. It's almost in the breadbasket of The Empire.

The agriculture around that area and the Plains is top -notch. It's the best vineyards it's the best wine it's super rich. And that's what created the. need for these airships.

They built these airships as a way to transport their stuff.

Yeah Citadel is on top of the very hill. And from the Citadel are these three stretches of aqueducts. They call them The Three Sisters.

That range all the way north and the legend is that they go all the way to the northern mountains. Where water from the mountains melts into them and feeds the.

Montemore and all of the. neighboring crops etc.

zeratas. 108:16

Is it a rich looking rich?

Michael Stratis (GM) 108:17

That is sorry. That isn't that is southwest of you?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 108:21

Thank you. That was the question that was -

Michael Stratis (GM) 108:23

Sorry I just gave you a bunch of water for no time.

zeratas. 108:24

Does it look it sounds rich in resources but does it look there's money in it as well?

Michael Stratis (GM) 108:32

Yes from what you know of that city -state is one of if not the most wealthy city state in the empire.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 108:45

Trajectory that we're headed is.

Michael Stratis (GM) 108:48

You are facing this picture you're facing north.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 108:52

So this is. Our understanding of where new Voss is north.

Michael Stratis (GM) 108:57

That's right. It's probably northeast based off of what you heard that there is a river that what know Navas for one. GearWhistle tells you it's if you follow that.

front river north you'll eventually get to it.

This might be a good time to end this session. You now have an operational. Airship.

zeratas. 109:23

As you hear that in the ether it's just You're welcome.

Michael Stratis (GM) 109:28

What?

zeratas. 109:29

next time.

Michael Stratis (GM) 109:30

It seems at the helm of that airship and it's almost killed you guys multiple times. You are pointing north.

This is a good time to end the session I think. And you guys can decide and we can text about where you want to go or how you want to do this again.

zeratas. 109:46

Can Sid see over the airship?

Michael Stratis (GM) 109:50

barely. Not a great view. Let me show you on the map just briefly to orient you Eric. So if this is where you guys were.

Right right here.

As you rise above Voss is sort of — you can sort of see this. The lake that vases on to your east. You see to the north the river that sort of goes up to Navas.

And then to your southwest. In the distant southwest you see. Montemore. With the three sisters. Headed north from.

The aqueducts that head north. I think to From the city. helpful.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 110:36

sweet. Can we get this map for. Some study offline.

Michael Stratis (GM) 110:40

Well Gear Whistle drew it for you guys again very quickly and then crumpled it up in his hand and threw it off the.

Scott LaLiberte (Osbourne [PC]) 110:48

You said he stuck it in his pocket earlier.

zeratas. 110:49

Becky go get it.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 110:56

All right I'm going to.

Michael Stratis (GM) 110:57

All right we'll see.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 110:58

We're going to propose a simple. In between this session and whenever our next session is. And that is we do a few things. One of which.

To figure out how we can get some rest while we're moving. So we can sort out who can fly Spy who can sleep.

Over the period of time that we're moving. But also one thing that's been haunting me this whole time is that we have this. Unattended to.

Party inventory that I just posted in one of our main roleplaying threads. would love for anybody that feels they want to claim any of these things to claim them.

Or if anybody's tracking things individually. That they have that we just kind of account for it.

And move them out of our party inventory so that we're aware of them and can start integrating them if they are needed. But feel free to Claim any of those things and move them into your.

Personal inventory if you want to.

zeratas. 112:12

Thank you.

Michael Stratis (GM) 112:14

Another quick announcement.

What we could do here is as you guys are pulling off and wherever you decide to travel if you have any questions you want to ask EarWistle about either the area Navas how the airship works just text it through the text chain. And I'll just respond in terms of what he tells ya.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 112:35

And a lot of you guys missed out on this beforehand. Because it was just Scott and I and Will that were talking before. But if there's anything that you're.

in need of from a supply standpoint. would benefit you. Start to get a list of or at least. On your own get a list of things. that would be beneficial to you.

And whether it means that we. Stop at a place NuVos and try to find a shop to pick those up. Or.

Scott had a cool idea of some sort catalog system that we could try to figure out.

We'd be able to deliver them to us in some way. That would be useful as well but just think about what would be useful for your character to have especially in Hesse's world I'm sure you're burning through all kinds of spell components and.

Paper and all that kind of stuff.

Unfortunately we lost all of our horses and they were scattered across the.

The planes as a distraction but beer would certainly be valuable. We do have that one keg of ale that is on board. That we.

Stole from the people that were previously approaching. The villains that were previously approaching their Hidat. we do at least have that much ale.

Michael Stratis (GM) 113:54

You mean the dwarf that you just murdered in cold blood? Yes.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 113:58

Did I murder it or did a certain?

Michael Stratis (GM) 113:58

next time. I think you can do it.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 114:02

A childhood beloved stop -motion character murderer.

zeratas. 114:08

Mike if I didn't roll a natural 20 on that move what would have happened? to me?

Michael Stratis (GM) 114:17

Honestly I really didn't. Yeah it's probably not good man.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 114:26

The rest of it. We would have been talking about remember that airship we had?

zeratas. 114:30

Remember that campaign we had?

Michael Stratis (GM) 114:33

Remember our old characters? Remember guys. Just a word to the wise. you are on a ship with if it crashed right now and you fell 300 feet you would die. Okay.

So unless you have Featherfall or some other – just be – You know just so

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 114:50

And nobody has that.

Michael Stratis (GM) 114:53

Gear whistle does.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 114:55

really? Well that's because you've got wings.

zeratas. 114:55

I think one of the objects we grabbed for my thing gave you Featherfall.

Michael Stratis (GM) 115:02

All right guys. got to – I'm dying here. Have a great evening and we'll continue this maybe next week if we can.

zeratas. 115:04

Thank you.

Have a good one.

Michael Stratis (GM) 115:11

See you guys.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 115:13

Sorry I was late.

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 115:16

We gotta cancel all of the things.

Rob Poisez (Hess [PC]) 115:19

yeah and stop recording end archivist. Who does it?

Eric Woods (Calcorius Drommens [PC]) 115:23

Hold on archivist.
